Meet Captain Jason: Your Lake Tahoe Fishing Charter Captain
Captain Jason has spent his life fishing the pristine waters of Lake Tahoe and its surrounding areas. With years of experience casting lines across the West Coast—from the southern waters of Baja to the rugged shores of Southeast Alaska—he brings a wealth of fishing expertise to every charter. Though he became a Registered Nurse in 2016, Jason’s true passion has always been fishing. Sharing stories, snapping pictures of memorable catches, and creating unforgettable fishing experiences led him to start his own fishing charter business.
In 2019, Captain Jason launched his first fishing boat, the Ruby Jean, which ignited his dream of guiding others on the water. By 2023, he had upgraded to his ultimate fishing vessel, the Macy Mae, enabling him to provide professional fishing charters in Lake Tahoe, as well as at Stampede Reservoir, Donner Lake, Topaz Lake, and other nearby fishing hotspots.
